Bi-Plane
Bi-plane Angiogram is a 3D blood vessel examination machine with an x-ray machine that has 2 x-ray heads, 2 planes, making the images come out in 3D, suitable for examining cerebral blood vessels which is more complex than the coronary artery. It is used to diagnose disease and can also be used to treat diseases such as varicose veins. Aneurysm treatment involves x-rays and insertion of a catheter, similar to a heart examination and releasing coils or certain chemicals to block the abnormal blood vessel location. It can also be used to treat narrowed arteries which cannot give drugs to dissolve blood clots or medication that does not work in the treatment.
